Lauren and Stanley, August 16, 2008

Saturday welcomed us with thunder, hail and lighting, but by the time Lauren and Stanley were to wed, the sun was shining and the mountains were dusted with a little snow. Lauren looked stunning in her wedding gown which, was made by her mother who also made the linens for the reception, quite a talented family! It was a fun filled night on the top of the mountain and I worked with two wonderful photographers, who were the bride and grooms personal friends- Che, from Click Photo and Ashley, from Lady Flash Productions. I look forward to their images... it was truely a beautiful day in the mountians.

River Rendezvous July 16, 2008

The 9th annual River Rendezvous was better than ever this year with a new location and an amazing amount of Live and Silent Auction items. This years event was held at Aspen Chaparral Ranch in Woody Creek and with the largest crowd to date, the night was filled with great music, food and dancing. I look forward to next year... 10th annual!

Erin and Ryan, June 28th, 2008

Vintage Garden was the feeling of Erin and Ryan's wedding. Set in the garden of a family friend's home in downtown Aspen, a close gathering of family and friends witnessed their vows. Erin's sisters wore dresses from England and the flower girl carried one pink peony AND stole the show, she was only 15 months and walked all by herself. The evening was warm and the lilacs were in full bloom while a quintet played in the background during dinner. Erin and Ryan danced to Norah Jones and later to a great dance mix of current hits. When the evening came to a close, not a guest had left and all tossed lavender seeds on the newly Mr. and Mrs. as they left for their after party at 39degrees lounge. Congratulations you too!

Mike and Eugenia June 21st, 2008

It was an absolute perfect June day-warm, blue sky's and a beautiful evening to add to it! Mike and Eugenia were married in a church ceremony and followed up with an intimate wedding reception riverside in Carbondale, CO. From a motorcycle ride to the reception special party favors, Eugenia wanted it all. Their dog even got dressed up for the big day. With great music, food, fun toasts and a bit of Argentina thrown into the mix, the evening lasted until 3am! Carnival Carioca is what they call it and with chocolates flown in from Argentina the guests were bid farewell. Those guys know how to celebrate a wedding day. Congratulations you two!

Mike and Eugenia's Engagement Party, Saturday March 15th

She said yes! With a nod to St. Patrick's day, Mike and Eugenia celebrated their upcoming nuptials last saturday. Friends noshed on wonderful delights from Idigenous Catering and were suprised with the custom made " hats", oh what a night and what a crowd. There were some great dancing... but I won't post those pictures. Sweet wishes ended the evening for all the guests as they left and who wouldn't have wanted to have taken one?! That is the best child's picture I have ever seen! As Eugenia's tag line says, "you don't stop playing because you grow old; We grow old because we stop playing". Guys, I look forward to the rest of the story in June and thanks for letting me be a part of your day.

Mandy and John, February 23, 2008

With Tulips and Cherry Blossoms, Mandy and John wed in Glenwood Springs, CO! What a fun couple and a great family... this wedding rocked with a feeling of spring at the Hotel Colorado. With two hundred of their friends and family in attendance the day started with a beautiful blanket of snow and ended up a star filled night. Mandy looked amazing at her candlelight ceremony and John tore up the dance floor to Neil Diamond. Their friends were so much fun and had some of the best toasts I have heard! I can't wait to see you around the valley and I wish you to the best in your marriage.
